Everyday Makeup + My Favorite Crew Neck Sweater

Hey babes! It is finally November and I couldn’t be more excited for the holidays. I already have my Christmas decorations out- sort of. Mainly they are “out” in my front room, waiting to be placed! I did a poll on instagram the other day asking people when they decorate for Christmas. Some said the day after Halloween or November 1st, but most said they wait until Black Friday weekend… I guess I can wait a couple more weeks too!

Anyways, let’s talk about this sweater!

This is a sweater that I can wear over and over again. This is the sweater that I always receive compliments on when I wear it. It is the sweater that everyone always asks me where I purchased it from. It’s one of my absolute favorites. It’s so good that I bought it in two colors, brick and gray, and I honestly wouldn’t know what to say if you asked me which color is my favorite of the two!

I love this sweater because it is thick enough to keep me warm, yet thin enough to wear under a jacket or coat. My favorite feature of it is the side splits and the high-low scooped hemline. You will usually catch me wearing this sweater with a pair of leggings because it has the perfect length to cover my bum.

Reading reviews on Amazon, some people said that they received a rash after wearing this sweater. I can honestly say that I did NOT get a rash myself when wearing it and I probably wouldn’t be on here recommending it if I had. The sweater does have an acrylic and polyester blend so it does have a little bit of a scratchy texture to it – let’s just say it isn’t cashmere or chenille.

NOW let’s talk about my every day Fall makeup look. I love to use red, orange and brown tones, so when I found this sweater in ‘Brick’ I couldn’t wait to throw some warm toned makeup on to match!

I don’t know how to do winged liner, or eye liner of any sort for that matter, so I usually just try to keep my makeup looks simple. I have ALWAYS wanted to be one of those girls that knew how to do makeup though. I am obsessed with watching all the glam videos you see on Youtube and Instagram.
