Hello friends!

We are still on the hunt for different activities to do during this time at home! We have been checking off a lot of items from our Spring Bucketlist! Today we decided to bake and decorate sugar cookies!

Now, before I get into this, I need to let you know something. I am NOT a baker or a chef. Can I follow directions or a recipe? YES! But I won’t typically try to make cookie mix or frosting from scratch! The easier, the better!

I need to give a huge shoutout to those out there that run a successful cookie business and have perfected those beautiful royal icing cookies! If you are looking for that, I regret to inform you that you are in the wrong place. This post is for those, like me, that are looking for something quick and simple!

We used white cookie icing and food coloring to make all of our fun Spring colors and I  had a few leftover sprinkle containers that we decided to add to a couple of the cookies. We used a toothpick to add on the Easter bunny faces. Decorating sugar cookies can be a fun activity for the whole family to do!

Leave a comment and let me know what your favorite kind of cookie is!
