It’s officially been 1 week since we welcomed our sweet baby Myles into the world! We have been soaking up every bit of newborn snuggles as a family of four!
I thought I would put together a list of some of my favorite + must have items that I currently have and that I am using!
MY MAMA-MUST-HAVES
CAR SEAT + STROLLER
One of the first things I knew I needed (and wanted) was a function, but stylish, carseat and stroller, so when I came across the 5-in-1 Maxi-Cosi Adorra stroller I knew it was the one for me! It is super simple and user friendly, plus it has beautiful colors that I am obsessed with.
PAPILLON BEBE COCOON
We love our cocoon! As a mama of now two, I am always looking for affordable and functional. To be honest, I really wanted a Dockatot. I think I mainly wanted it because of all the hype from other mamas raving over how amazing it is. They are a great accessory to keep baby safe + snug in the crib, on your bed or even when traveling. I came across the Papillon Bebe Cocoon and read the reviews. Many said it was just as great as the Dockatot but for half the price so I decided to give it a try. It works great for us and offers stylish covers that I love!
FEEDING + NURSING
Boy oh boy, breastfeeding with Jax was ROUGH. I only breastfed him for about 3 months, so I knew I wanted to try extra hard to nurse for at least 6 months with Myles. That’s my goal. If I can do it for longer, great. If I can’t, that’s okay too. There are a lot of new things that I am really excited to be using this time around. First being the Haakaa Silicone Breast Pump with Stopper. It collects your milk let down on the side you are not feeding on. NO MORE WASTED MILK! It is amazing and I highly recommend it. Second, I love to use this nursing pillow to comfortably nurse my babies. It helps so much to easily find a comfortable position! Lastly, I love my carseat/nursing cover from Milk Snob. Not only are they perfect to use while you are out and need to feed the baby but they are available in lots of cute designs!
DIAPER BAG
I love convenience and style, which is why the Fawn Design backpacks are my go-to when it comes to “diaper bag”. I have used mine ever since I had Jax and will continue to do so forever! They are stylish, easy to use and have a lot of storage! I take mine everywhere we go and it’s perfect for everything we need.
BATH TIME
Is anyone else obsessed with the smell of a fresh and clean little babe? It’s my favorite. I personally don’t use any special baby bath, but I do have a few bath time products that I absolutely love and trust on our babies. We love Tubby Todd! They offer a wide range of products they are perfect for baby. We also swear by Aveeno. Jax had super sensitive skin and Aveeno Baby products worked wonders for him. Make sure you also stock up on soft hooded towels and washcloths!
SWADDLE BLANKETS
I love swaddle blankets, and the ones from Copper Pearl are at the top of my list! The material is so soft and they are very modern in design. I highly recommend.
MISCELLANEOUS EXTRAS
There are so many baby products out there to choose from. Something that may work for me may not work for you and vice versa. That’s okay. Every baby and family has different needs! Here are a few extra products that are great to have on hand: Nose Frida, Mamaroo, Boon Drying Rack, and Laundry Detergent.
