Halloween Book Wall + List

Hello October!

We love reading books at our house, so an easy way to make our playroom a little more festive is by switching up our book wall throughout the seasons!

So for October 1, we switched up our shelves and pulled out all of our Halloween books, added some garlands + bats, and are ready to celebrate all month long!

I always have people ask me how to start their own book walls. My first tip – don’t rush it! Find books you truly love and pick them up over time. Buy them when they are on sale, buy one or two every year, etc. TRUST ME. It’s hard not to want to immediately buy them all BUT it can get expensive! It’s taken us a while to build up the collection that we have.

Because books can get expensive and add up quick, my second tip is – do your research! Search online, check local book stores or thrift stores! Amazon always has the best deals and with their quick + free shipping, it’s a no-brainer to me. Amazon is always my go-to!
