I’ve been on the hunt for something modern and cute to dress up my front porch for Halloween. I love to decorate with mums, but I didn’t want to put them in one of the average, every day planters. I decided to create my own little DIY to create my own. I absolutely love how it turned out and the best part.. It was super inexpensive and SO easy!
To make your own skull planter, you will first need to buy a skull candy and serve bowl which can be found here.
Next, choose your spray paint color. I used Krylon brand spray paint Chalky Finish in the color ‘classic white’.
To create, spray 1-2 coats over your skull until it is full covered. I did a small section at a time to ensure it properly dried and didn’t drip too much. Allow your paint to full dry and then add your favorite Fall flowers or plants!
That’s it! Super easy, right?
I hope you enjoyed this simple and chic DIY! If you make your own skull planter tag me on Instagram or send me an email. I would love to see your creations! Pin the image below on Pinterest to save this DIY Skull Planter!
